Ryan Smith, a member of the CertTech engineering team, achieved National Instruments Certified Professional
Instructor (CPI) status. National Instruments Certified Professional Instructors are qualified both technically
and instructionally to provide training in a clear, articulate manner to adult learners. Certified Professional
Instructors have passed evaluations based on instructor competencies published by the International Board of
Standards for Training, Performance, and Instruction. Ryan is also a Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) and
joins Larry Detherage, who is a Certified TestStand Developer (CTD), as individuals with National Instruments
certifications on the CertTech team.

We can help evaluate your software development process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. We have experience with the requirements of DO-178B for the aviation industry, as well as IEC 62304:2006 for the medical device industry.
Design for Requirements Based Testability Consulting

Integration Testing Process and Tools Consulting
Integration testing is a verification of software item and software interface design. The goal of integration testing is to verify the interrelationship and interfaces between software components and to verify the implementation of software requirements of software components within the software architecture. CertTech can develop and perform this testing on the target hardware and operating system or within a different environment, such as a PC.
Unit Test Process and Tools Consulting
Software unit testing provides verification that the software unit meets requirements and is free from internal defects. CertTech provides the expertise to help you perform unit testing, quickly and efficiently. Our focus on requirements-based testing ensures that the requirements for the software unit are met. In addition, we can help evaluate your software and provide structural coverage metrics, to ensure that all structures in the code are implemented correctly and that all code is reachable and tested.
