AUSTIN, Texas – Feb. 11, 2013 – National Instruments (Nasdaq: NATI) today announced the Tool Qualification Kit for NI TestStand to help meet functional safety standards, such as RTCA DO-178B/C, IEC 62304 and ISO 26262, in numerous industries that need qualified tools to verify safety requirements for electronic systems. The kit, developed by CertTech LLC, an NI Alliance Partner, defines the functional requirements NI TestStand meets, creates a set of tests to demonstrate compliance with the requirements and provides extensive documentation to show compliance in accordance with functional safety standards.

CertTech is proud to announce that two more of our engineers have obtained NI certifications. Tim McClung has achieved Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) status, and Ryan Smith has achieved the highest possible certification, Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA). Congratulations Tim and Ryan! 

After performing a complete recertification audit, Det Norske Veritas has declared that CertTech's Quality Management System conforms to the Management System Standard ISO 9001:2008. 

CertTech has been selected by the Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF) to take the lead technical role in development of their new conformance test system for ISOBUS 11783 compliance. The core system design will be based on National Instruments TestStand™ test management software. 

Two more NI certifications have been obtained by CertTech Engineers. John Stanley has achieved Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) status, and Ryan Smith has achieved Certified TestStand Developer (CTD) status. Congratulations John and Ryan!
